The Weedhopper was first introduced in 1979. It is an assembly kit made
using bolt together aluminum construction covered in presewn dacron
envelopes.
Construction times are reported in the 25 to 50 hour range. Standard
features include brakes, steerable nose wheel, windshield instruments, 5
gallon fuel tank.
Option include storage bags, floats, and emergency parachute system.
The craft is also available as the Weedhopper Super, which is equipped
with the 503 Rotax engine.
